Hi! Welcome to The Simple Slate! My name is Kristy Cartwright and I'm the artist behind the work! Each piece is designed and handcrafted by me in my studio in central Indiana. I love working with sterling silver to create simple, yet elegant pieces of work. I hope my work brings others as much joy as it does for me, when I create it.

How We Do It
Each piece is carefully designed and handcrafted in my local studio in Franklin, Indiana. Because each handmade piece is made to order, please allow for 2-10 business days for production time, not including shipping and transit.

Cancelations:
Please reach out within 24 hours of purchase to cancel an order
Return or Exchange:
Things Happen! If for any reason you'd like to request a return or an exchange, please send an email to thesimpleslate@gmail.com. Requests must be made within 30 days of purchase. Exchange and return requests are subject to additional material and shipping costs.

Repairs:
If your piece breaks within 3 months of purchase, please contact me at thesimpleslate@gmail.com and I will gladly take care of a repair.
After 3-6 months, I offer free repairs, you will only have to cover shipping.
Repairs after the 6th month will incur a cost dependent on the materials and time to fix, as well as shipping.
Normal wear and tear or lost items are not covered for repair/replacement.

Because each piece is uniquely handmade and no two pieces are alike, an exact replacement is not possible, but I will work with you to find a best resolution.
